Images that haunt the memory long after the photo was taken. Subjects range from the mundane to the mysterious….Inspired by singular moments in life’s timeline, all have the power to evoke the emotions that accompanied the original experience. The Cornwall Journals were inspired by an artist residency that I was granted in Cornwall England. The Roman faces (Memento Mori series) were inspired by the haunting faces of marble sculptures from ancient Rome at NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art. To quote from the author Simon Armitage, ”They say that every sound ever made is still reverberating through the universe."
